Bachrach & Associates, Inc. (BAI), a San Diego-based professional development firm in the financial services industry, has an excellent entry-level career opportunity for an Initial Contact Specialist to assist our professional consultants in supporting our financial advisor Clients throughout the world. The ICS is responsible for engaging new Clients and connecting them with our consultants as well as coordinating and administering our Referral Process. Daily responsibilities include scheduling Client appointments; managing calendars; following up with new and prospective Clients; receiving incoming calls; generating reports; and processing orders and documents to ensure positive Client experiences. Successful candidates will possess excellent telephone skills, strong verbal and written communication skills; superior listening skills; be computer literate with MS Office and have a minimum typing speed of 45 wpm; be dependable with a strong work ethic and be customer service driven. Knowledge of CRM (customer relationship management) applications preferred. The position also requires the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. The position is full time, with shift start times between 6:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. This non-exempt level position starts at $11.00 per hour with a compensation and bonus plan based on performance. The ACA confirms scheduled appointments between our Clients and Accountability Coaches and provides administrative support. Daily responsibilities include confirming appointments via telephone and email; managing calendars; receiving incoming calls; answering general questions and processing orders and documents to ensure positive Client experiences. This position also provides coverage for the Receptionist desk as necessary.
